La terza edizione del Tarvisio Winter Trail si svolgerà sabato 09.03.19 nella conca del Lago Superiore di Fusine (UD), al cospetto della catena del monte Mangart. Il Winter Trail è una specialità della corsa a piedi che si svolge in ambiente naturale, generalmente su sentieri di montagna o su piste battute innevate o ghiacciate con tratti pavimentati o di asfalto limitati che al massimo e in ogni caso non devono eccedere il 70% del totale della lunghezza del percorso.
Il Tarvisio Winter Trail si terrà a Tarvisio, più precisamente nella conca dei laghi di Fusine, uno dei luoghi più affascinanti della regione Friuli Venezia Giulia. I laghi di origine glaciale, sono collegati tra loro da facili sentieri, armoniosamente inseriti all’interno di un fitto bosco di abete rosso e posti alla base dell’imponente catena montuosa del Gruppo del monte Mangart. L’ambiente, dove vivono numerosi animali e piante tipiche, si trasforma a seconda delle stagioni in infinite gamme di colore dipingendo il bosco e i laghi con sfumature uniche rendendo ancora più magico questo luogo.
Il Tarvisio Winter Trail
The third edition of the Tarvisio Winter Trail will take place on Saturday 9th March 2019 in the basin of the Lago Superiore di Fusine (UD), under the Mount Mangart and its whole mountain chain. The Winter Trail is a discipline of running that takes place in the natural environment, usually on mountain trails or snowy or icy slopes or paths with as few as possible grounded or asphalted parts, which in any case cannot exceed 70% of the total length of the path.
The third edition of the Tarvisio Winter Trail is in its third edition to be held in Tarvisio, more precisely in the basin of the Fusine lakes, one of the most fascinating places in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The lakes of glacial origin, are connected by easy paths, harmoniously inserted within a dense spruce forest and placed at the base of the imposing mountain chain of the Mount Mangart Group. The environment, where many animals and typical plants live, is transformed according to the seasons into infinite ranges of colors, painting the woods and lakes with unique nuances making this place even more magical.
